Kevin Costner and Modern West. OMG.
Kevin Costner has a soul-patch, and a band. What is the world coming to? I discovered this lovely snippet of news because he’s playing live at the Durham minor league baseball game — a place I’m thinking of attending soon. Remember that time he was in a movie called Bull Durham? And now he’s playing with his sweet soul-patch and his sweet band at the Durham Bulls baseball game. That’s so ironic, I bet they didn’t even think of that…
Even though I’m sure he’s better than Nickelback, it’s just…not…good…
If his music is as emotion packed as his acting, this could be quite a ride.
(In the most monotone-Costner voice possible) Ladies and gentlemen, I give you, Kevin Costner and Modern West.

Don’t knock it till you’ve tried it! I have seen his band play once. It was good. The man can really sing. He also plays a guitar pretty decent. The bands music is sort of southern rock.
@Deepblue. You’re right…I shouldn’t be critical until I’ve heard it. I did listen to it and it’s not my thing. I wish it could’ve happened the other way around. Musician first, then actor. I’m not sure why though…
I love Kevin and Modern West. I think his songs say something special and the best part is you can actually understand what he’s singing.
I enjoy his soft peaceful voice and style, just as I have always loved and collected his movies.
I have the band’s first CD and I’m waiting, a little impatiently for a full CD due out soon.
I’m also on my mark waiting for the August 1st. opening of “Swing Vote”.
I adore him in this type of comedic style because he is truly a man with a sense of humor and it really comes out, big time, in movies like this.
