mood: Melt My Face | Reflective

Face Melt

So, I’m starting a new series…with absolutely no promises on how often I’ll update it. It’s called “Face Melt” and it will just be my guilty pleasure of ridiculous guitar players who may or may not grace my iPod; but are certainly worth the “holy balls” factor.

To start it off: Eric Mongrain (thanks to Chris for this one)

  1. That song is called “AirTap” off his album “Fates.” The whole album is completely instrumental and very good… sort of in the spirit of Michael Hedges but not as dark.

  2. There is just something about Mongrain’s style that just works for me. I wish more people knew about him, because he has a beautiful sound that everyone should be blessed to hear.

  3. @Ryan:

Definitely. He just soothes the soul…it’s the kind of music I could cruise around on my longboard with all day.
