I like U2. I can’t say they’re my favorite band; but I like them. So, when I went to see U2 3D, while I was excited, I wasn’t expecting much.
It was amazing. You have to go see it. I mean, I was surprised at just how amazing it really was. The 3D technology was incredible! When the band first came on stage I honestly got an adrenaline rush just like I do at concerts. The wide angle shots of the 90,000 people were amazing, hanging out right over the drummer’s shoulder was amazing, and seeing the Edge’s guitar in 3D was amazing.
I saw it on an Imax screen, which in my opinion is a must. My only complaint is that it wasn’t quite
loud enough.
I was reading on their website that this technology is brand new and was designed for U2. Hopefully they will use this technology for other bands as well in the future.
Again, I wasn’t expecting much, and I’m not a U2 lover; but this is worth seeing if you like U2 even
a little bit.
